I didn't see any samples loaded, so I chose a few random sample patches for trumpet, horn, etc. In trying to troubleshoot the problem, I clicked the "gear" icon at the bottom of the "Play" section of the mixer to bring up the "Play" interface. When I try to play a score, though, I see levels in the mixer lighting up for all of the individual instruments in the score, but the "Play" section of the mixer (virtual instrument) isn't showing a signal.

The standalone "Play" software that comes with EW instruments works fine, and 4 instances of "Play" are even showing up in the playback config and Sibelius mixer. I've tried it with new scores as well as old scores (following the SSP instructions) and nothing works.

I followed all of the soundsetproject user manual directions and I think everything is installed where it belongs, but I'm having trouble getting sound playback when I try to use the EWQL configuration. Not knowing if this would actually work with my current set-up, or if it would truly be a usable improvement over the included Sibelius Sounds, I am on a monthly subscription for now, and I only purchased the EWQL Hollywood Brass Sound Set from in order to try things out on some brass quintets, etc. I recently downloaded a few of the EastWest virtual instrument libraries (QL Hollywood Orchestra series). I'm happy to learn and read more if someone can point me in the right direction, but I just can't find the documentation or guides to making this work. I'm a longtime Sibelius user but fairly new to the world of VSTs and working with sample libraries - apologies if I confuse any of the terminology.
